Review:Stranded by Jessica Frances

I just created a new account on NetGalley because I forgot about my last account up there. Hahaha. Yes, I didn’t that active back then so I often been rejected when I request a book. Honestly, I didn’t how it works completely so I just playing around, hoping my luck will make some authors/publishers approved my request. I’ll change it now. I’ll be more active from now on.

And, thanks to NetGalley, Jessica Frances, dan its publisher which approved my request on this book in exchange for an honest feedback.

At first, I don’t have high hope for this one because at this point I just love reading fluffy-sexy-cute-erotica-contemporary romance with no in-depth topic, moreover some mystery-detective kind of plot. But, in the end I’m kinda drowning on this story.

I love Jessica’s writing: easy to follow (for non native-English speaker, like me), not too flowery, good dictions, and nice characters. Well, some of them are not in a good description, but mostly lovable. Of course, thorough out the book I am imagining to have a partner such as a big-sherrif guy like Rocky (I already picturing myself as Conner Sherwood) or a handsome-movie-star like Henry Prince. I do also love having Love Fuller as a best friend.

I’m no interest on instalove, but in here, I am quite understand why there is an instant spark between the two at just earlier chapter. If you like me, please… keep reading, and you’ll get enough explanation about it. And, dang… the F scene at this part is amazing, but in general, I need more of that but this book doesn’t provide more. I hope for the next book, there a lot of steamy scenes on it. Especially, when it become more intense of possibility that Henry Prince really back to the story.

Like I said before, I am lil bit nervous about mystery-murderer case-detective part on this book. Thanks God, it doesn’t that much. Maybe for you who is expecting it as a big part of the story will end up disappointed. I still suggest you to read it, though. It is worth a try.

Lastly, it is an open ending (at least, for me, I am hoping the book will be closed by a phenomenal F scene… but, unfortunately NO) so I really want to read the next book of this In Midsummer series.

4 out of 5 star for this cute-and-smokin hot story.

Currently Reading: PUP (Guardian of Folsom) SJD Peterson

Whoaaaa…I think I might like this one. Adorable Sub, dominate-but-tolerable Dom. My cup of tea!

“Don’t worry, I’m not stupid enough to try and steal him away. I think it’s great. It’s about time you stopped burying yourself with work and started thinking more about your personal needs. You’ve been alone far, far too long.”

on Goodreads.

Micah “Pup” Slayde knows he wants Tackett Austin the moment he lays eyes on him in the Guards of Folsom. Micah wants to have purpose, to be taken care of, and to take care of his Dom—wants to trust him completely, live for him, belong to him. To become his everything. Micah

is sure Tackett is the one. The problem is, in order to be the perfect sub, he needs to stay focused, and that’s not easy for Micah, who suffers from what he refers to as a “broken brain.” Focus and adult attention deficit disorder rarely coexist.

Ever since Ty Callahan and Blake Henderson’s collaring ceremony, Tackett’s been thinking too much about his own loneliness. Even though Ty introduces Micah and urges Tackett to give him a try, Tackett isn’t so easily convinced. He’s spent his life pursuing a successful business career, and the subs he dominates almost never enjoy the kiss of his leather twice. Twenty years Micah’s senior, Tackett has no interest in taking on and taming such a young and naughty sub—but it’s difficult to resist such an adorable pup when he begs.

Review: Blame It On The Hormones by Dick O’Connor

Well, this is an incredibly cute but extremely short. Too short. Okay, this is a free book on, written by Dick O’Connor. I don’t know, whether this short story is self experience of Dick himself or not, but the character on it is named the same.

dick o connor - blame it on the hormonesI said this is cute because it told us about how two freshmen on a high school, Dick and Eric, were united because of Sarah, Dick’s friend who is voluntary help them get along. Everything looked fine. Dick is openly gay, then Eric, somehow still like to be in the closet. Their first date by watching a movie seemed promising, but when Dick is trying to test Eric’s feeling for him by touching his hand, Eric decided to move backward, and he went in a rush whilst the movie end. That’s the sign for Dick that maybe Eric is not The One for him.

Because this story is too short, I still can’t describe whether I like or not, except for its cuteness. I hope I can read lot of possibilities about their relationship.

I gave 2 out of 5 star. Honestly, I love Dick’s writing. I’ll look forward for his another books.

Review: Two For One by T.A. Chase

When Jack receives a Two for One offer at a local club, he doesn’t realise the two men would change his life.

Jack Samson moves to Sumerset to start over again. He’s looking forward to his new veterinary practice and maybe having some fun once in a while. He certainly isn’t looking to fall for two men.

Simon Wittman and Brady Vanderly have been partners for fifteen years. They love each other, but they like to play. When they pick Jack up at a local gay bar, they think they’re just looking for a night or two of fun. They end up finding so much more.

Such a long time I don’t read and review any books. Well, a lot of jobs in December always make me busy so my reading time is decreasing significantly. Oh, no, I’ll not bore you with my daily schedule. It’s time to relax and enjoy reading.

Two For One is the newest story that I read. And, it’s definitely the HOT one. Since the first page, we already being bombed by steamy scenes. Preparing your towel or tissue in case you can hold your ‘little Johnny’ to explode. The story itself is about Brady and Simon who were a couple for years. They have a wonderful relationship, in love and sex. But, somehow, Brady still need one person again to complete their love-life. And, Jack, who is accidentally having a heartbroken and visiting the gay bar was attracted the both of them instantly.

Simon: “Is there something missing between us?”
Brady: “No. I love you and always will, but there’s room in our hearts for another person. Why not go looking for him and have some fun while we’re at it?”

In the other hand, Jack also attract to them. And, in short time he already gave his heart for them though he still needs few moments to decide whether he wants to move into Brady’s and Simon relationship or not. It is a happy ending one, so you can guess what’s the ending, right? Well, no problem, you still have to read it because there is a lot of good stuff here.

Happy reading, y’all. I gave 3 out of 5 star for this one.

Free Reading: Seduction by Lou Harper

Well, this is me. The lazy one. How could I not know that this story is a free reading from Lou. I just thought that this one is the sequel of his previous work, Last Stop. I am definitely love its cover. Lucky me, I googled it, and found its free ebook on

Giving in so easily made him feel dirty and slutty, and he loved it.

It’s only 15 pages short story. Too short. Quite HOT. But, its fantasy made me smile when the story is being twisted around its half part. Enjoyable read.

I never knew that the story will be like that because its first half part is so believable ‘bartender-seduces-a-stranger’ kind of story. I never thought that both of them are……nope! I won’t spill out up here, because it can ruin your fantasy, if you still don’t read it yet.

By the way, maybe if I have already read Last Stop, I could figure out these two characters right away. But, thank God, I haven’t read it yet so I could enjoy this story very much.

Of course, I want it longer than only 15 pages. Can’t wait to read Last Stop. Thanks Lou!

Review: Gambling Men by Amy Lane

Quent Jackson has followed Jason Spade’s every move in business and in poker since their first day as college freshmen. Eight years later, when Jace finally decides Quint is the one man he can’t live without, he sees no reason for that to change.

But as much as Jace believes that poker is life, no one gave Quent the same playbook. After their first passionate night, the real game of love and trust begins, and Jace has been playing alone too long to make teaching the rules easy. Jace only speaks two languages: one of them is sex, and the other one is poker. Between the two, he needs to find a way to convince himself to take a chance on love—and Quent to take a chance on him. It’s a lucky thing they’re good at reading the odds, because they’re playing for keeps, and this is one high-stakes relationship that’s definitely worth the gamble.

It’s the first ARC that I received on Netgalley and I am really happy that my request to read this one is approved by Dreamspinner Press who is provided this book. Thank you!

Amy Lane is one of my favorite writer. I adore her writing because it’s always touchy story yet heartwarming. She knows how to make me happy by giving me a mixed of sweet, funny, and HOT scene all over the book.

Before I start reading it, I never expected to get this kind of beautiful story behind of poker game. I thought Amy will only give me one dirty story about having sex on poker table. No, she doesn’t do that. She gave me more than that. Yes, there is a making-love scene on poker table but she also give me a bunch of romantic and contemplative situation around the two main actors here, Jason “Jace” Spade and Quentin “Quent” Jackson.

Review: My Brother’s Frat Brother by Xander Harris

Before I knew that there are lot of official book about m2m romance, I used to visit to read m2m story. Even, I had few favorite authors and stories up there. One of my all-time favorite story is “My Brother’s Frat Brothers” written by xanderharris02. The story is split into 6-part. It is a good story, HOT, awesome, and also well-written. I believe that this story is good material to be published.

The story is about Kyle who is secretly boy in the closet. One day, he visits his old brother frat’s house to see him. Though, that’s not his main reason to come. He wants to meet HOT boys who live there. Especially, he need to see Bailey, one of the hottest hunk he ever seen who is caught his heart since the first time he visited the house awhile back ago.

So, before he can meet his brother, Nick a.k.a. Turbo, he is greeted by Wes, another hot hunk who is immediately make him horny. In the first place, he doesn’t know that Wes is gay. But, Wes is a confident boy who has gay radar in action and he asks Kyle to come over to his room and show him what Kyle desires to do. And, Kyle loss his doubt. He knew he’s gay since the first time he checked Turbo’s cock back to his teenage period. Now, he’s completely understand why he fantasies himself to touch a guy, because he’s truly gay. Thanks to Wes who make his eyes open and give him an awesome experience of sucking and fucking.

Oh, yeah, Harris is not only gave us Wes-Kyle HOT session, but he offered us a lot of complicated moment while Bailey (Kyle’s first crush) and Turbo caught them in man-to-man action. Furthermore, Harris also give us brother-does-brother action. I love every part of this story, especially when Bailey gets plowed by Kyle. It is just amazing. Kind of my imagination, also.

I give 5 out of 5 star to this story and happily suggest to any publisher out there to publish this material as a book. Read it here:

  1. Part 1
  2. Part 2
  3. Part 3
  4. Part 4
  5. Part 5
  6. Part 6
