Review: Covenation (A Magician’s Coven Book #2) by Mark Alders

Okay, honestly, I still try to learn how to enjoy m2m romance with the paranormal or supra-natural things as its background. Maybe that’s happened because everytime I read a book about paranormal-adventurous-journey, there are always a hero and a heroine, and the will kiss each other at the end of the story. And, yes, for one moment, I think it will be an awkward moment for usual book to have the ending by showing two guys were kissing. Hmmm….

But, I am definitely enjoy this Covenation by Mark Alders, the second installment of Mark’s “Magician’s Coven” series. It’s funny that I didn’t read the first one, but I already finish the second one. And, I can’t believe that I love it.

Review: Best Gift Ever by Katey Hawthorne

Well, it is one of gay short story which is provided on Goodreads.com. It only contains 26 pages so you can finish it less than 15 minutes, I guess.

Read it free by clicking the picture above

The story itself is cute, about two young gay lover who has to decide what’s the best gift suppose to give each other in this Christmas. And also, they have to decide whether they want to go on vacation with their family or stay together at lake house. Yeah, I bet you alredy know what’s the option that will be chosen by them, don’t you?

Frankly, I m not feeling it. This story is hot, but it can be HOTTER! Sex between the two of them is nice but not that fantastic, though there are lil bit sub-dom kind of action here, but, I fail to identify who is the Sub and who is the Dom, so I have difficulty to describe how good their action-on-bed is.

Overall, I gave this story 3 out of 5 star.

Movie Review: eCupid (MM Romance)

Alongside reading, I do love watching movie too. I regularly watch Not Another Gay Movie, Dante’s Cove, The Lair, Queer as a Folk, etc. Today, I watched this cute love story between Marshall and Gabriel on eCupid: Love on the Download. The movie is written, produced, and directed by J.C. Calciano, featuring the sexy Houston Rhines as Marshall Thomas and Noah Schuffman as Gabriel “Gabe” Horton. eCupid is released in 2011.

I really want to watch this movie based on its cute trailer. I have high expectation that this one will be one of the best gay-comedy-romantic. Especially, it has magnificent casts such as the cutie Houston Rhines, Matthew Scott Lewis, and Galen Drever. Yes, I really into Houston or Galen, hahaha.

Houston Rhines

But, not any closer to the best gay movie in my catalog. Basically, the movie is too simple and not having any tremendous conflict to push the storyline. Even, I am bored when the story wasn’t going anywhere but the fight of Marshall vs Gabe. And, after the movie end, I still couldn’t figure out the what the benefit of eCupid is beside help Marshall to reunite with Gabe.

Bloody hell! And, the make-out session only one scene in this movie. ONLY ONE SCENE! Oh, great! Whatever, I just gave 2 out of 5 star to this movie only because its cast.

Review: Bookended by Heidi Belleau

DAMN, IT’S HOT! Definitely!

As a reader, I love to read a story with the book as its background. And, this short story, Bookended, written by Heidi is obviously involved book atmosphere. Can’t ask for more.

goodreads.com

Since the beginning of this story, I lost my breath. It is so damn beautiful yet HOT. And, I found it that this story is very well-written. Usually, I just found a hot story contained a lot of dirty scenes without any pretty words, then this one is different. It’s not only good in words but also great in the hot scenes. And, I do love threesome, hahaha…

During my reading time, I just stroking my ‘lil Johnny, ups, I mean I barely keep breathing normally, cause I can’t resist its hotness. The combination of threesome action, first-time experience, and lil bit sub-dom kind of relationship, this book is a complete package for me. I am happy reading this one.

I give it 5 out of 5 stars. One of my favorite, so far!

My fantasy about the 3-way is just like this:

Review: A Lesson In Truth by Sloan Parker

It’s too sHOrT! Gosh, I needed more pages, pleaseeeeeee…..

It is another free reading from http://bookworld.editme.com and I just read it only for 10 minutes to finish the 13th pages of it. Geez! It’s lovable story yet beautiful, though, again, I need more pages to describe the relationship between the professor, Michael, and his lover-student, David.

goodreads.com

Talking about the scandalous relationship, then. Even, in heterosexual life, teacher-student kind of relationship is still assumed as taboo. It shouldn’t happened no matter what. Though, there is love in the air between the two. People are easily ignore the love-factor.

“We kissed last night. Do you want to pretend that didn’t happen?”

David is shocked when Michael said that he must quit as David’s professor and suggested him to meet another one. David assumed that the earlier kiss between them is the cause of Michael’s decision. But, David is wrong. Michael want to quit in order to fight their love.
